# How to Request Data Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your data collected from HeyMilo. Here's how to do so.
### How to submit a request
1. Open your interview experience page
2. Scroll to the bottom and click **My Data**
3. Submit your deletion request
4. You'll receive a verification email — click the link to confirm
5. Once confirmed, your request is queued for processing
### What happens next
Your account will be marked **Deactivated** and you will no longer be able to access your interview pages or application. You'll see an invalid link screen if you try to visit them.
Your data is fully removed once processing is complete.
### A few things to know
* **This cannot be undone.** Once processing begins, deletion cannot be reversed.
* **HeyMilo only.** This request removes your data from HeyMilo. If the company you applied to stores your information in a separate system, you will need to contact them directly to request removal there as well.
* **One request per email.** If a request already exists for your email, the system will surface that existing request rather than create a new one.
